We both noticed it at the same time.
“Did you see that?”
The pollen was blowing through the air—
thick, constant, almost like a blizzard.
We both just stood there watching it.
“Wow… it looks like a snowstorm,” I said.
A blizzard of pollen.
Floating.
Everywhere.
Impossible to ignore.
And then he looked at me…
not saying anything,
just that look—
like,
you know what to do.
And I smiled.
Because I did.
Because moments like this
don’t feel random anymore.
They feel like something
we’re meant to notice.
Even in the middle of the mess.
Even when everything feels heavy
and unclear—
there’s still something there.
Movement.
Life.
Change happening in ways we don’t always understand.
Maybe that’s what this was.
Not something to avoid.
Not something to fight.
Just something to see.
And now…
we both see it.
